The Care Quality Commission are a regulatory government body tasked with ensuring that health care providers meet essential standards. The Old Rectory Practice Ltd was inspected on 11th July 2013 and their report was published 22nd August 2013.

The CQC inspector spent approximately half a day at the practice interviewing staff, treatment providers, and patients and reviewing procedures and protocols. At the end of the visit, the inspector was very complimentary about the quality of the service provided at The Old Rectory.
Quotation from the report: 'We received positive feedback from people using the dentist on the day of the inspection. We spoke with two people. They both said they were happy and satisfied with the care and treatment they had received. People commented "the dentist was knowledgeable and up to date and staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and understanding". People told us they were provided with excellent aftercare. They said they were given a post procedure instruction sheet, contact details for the dentist out of hours and a follow up telephone call the next day to establish their progress...........These practices ensured people's care and welfare needs were met and delivered in a safe way.
